RESULTS The Engel & Völkers team emerged victorious and were presented with the Engel & Völkers Polo Cup trophy by Joachim von Berenberg. 2nd place: Team Drettmann Yachts. 3rd place: Team Son Campaner. 4th place: Team Berenberg Bank.
APRÉS The after party was hosted by Mr. Christian Völkers and held at the main house.
SPY Guests were dressed completely in white and included numerous celebrities such as singer Vicky Leandros, members of Mallorcan society and European aristocracy. The German polo stars Oliver and Christopher Winter, and Hamburg Senate’s Junior Sportsman of the Year in 2011 Caesar Crasemann joined the festivities after their match.
HEARD The principal host, Christian Völkers said, “ Polo is a fascinating sport for me. It’s not just about speed and precision which are absolutely crucial, but it is also about perfect teamwork between the player and their horse.”
TASTE Guests enjoyed an asado (an Argentinean barbecue) prepared by chef Ricardo Schettini, further catering by the Mallorcan catering company Menú.

INTEREST More than 60 horses had been transported by ferry from the Spanish mainland or by transporter from Germany. To reach the finca, the horses were taken across the Tramuntana Mountain range.
